The Circle That Walks Us
Listen, my friends.
Have you ever noticed how life moves?
We rise each morning,
we labor, we laugh, we struggle,
and when the sun sets—
we find ourselves back where we began,
only to start again tomorrow.
And you might ask,
“Why do we walk so far,
only to return to the same place?”
But let me tell you—
the circle is not a trap.
No.
The circle is a teacher.
Look at the river.
It leaves the mountain,
winds across valleys,
meets the ocean—
and then it rises again,
a cloud returning to the mountain
that first gave it breath.
Look at the dancers.
They move round the drum,
again and again,
but each step pulls them deeper
into the heartbeat of the song.
And even the tree—
every year it adds a ring,
round and round,
never the same,
but stronger, wider, wiser.
So yes, we move in circles.
We return to old roads,
old lessons, old stories.
But each time,
we are not who we were before.
We have changed.
The circle has carried us forward.
That, my friends,
is the wisdom of life.
And that is the story I bring you today—
Will with the tale.
